Jockeying starts for U.S. House run
Within hours of Rep. Ander Crenshaw’s announcement he wouldn’t run for re-election, speculation quickly spread about which of the many prominent Republicans would replace him.

Rutherford, who has not yet announced if he will run, has already received endorsements from Mayor Lenny Curry, major fundraiser Peter Rummell and business executive Michael Munz, who served as a co-chairman for Curry’s mayoral campaign.
